COVID-19 has served as a catalyst in pushing the healthcare industry forward, yet barriers to acceptance exist, as many AI implementations in the industry remain unexplored territory including data privacy and protection issues regarding how medical info is stored and shared. “Imsight has been strictly following the Hospital Authority’s regulatory on software management” Chapman replied, “Our employees will comply with the provisions of the PDPO (Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance) and to ensure sensitive data downloaded from the System is protected by encryption.”
