Since the start of the year, Imsight has been cooperating with local Japanese PACS manufacturers regarding how to utilize Imsight’s products for AI diagnosis and to equip PACS companies for providing better services for the local healthcare market. It is known that the products and services have been successfully used in over 100 hospitals in Japan.
On 6-8th December, during The 60th Annual Meeting of the Japan Lung Cancer Society (JLCS2019), Imsight’s CT and X-ray related products and services such as DR-Sight, Lung-Sight, Rib-Sight were being introduced. Many visitors have expressed immense interest in AI. Several hospitals believe that the AI system can aid diagnosis. They hope to assess the effectiveness of CT imaging in clinical setting.

This showcase was very smooth. It opens the door to Japan’s medical imaging market. Furthermore, the International Technical Exhibition of Medical Imaging 2020 (ITEM 2020) to be held from 10th to 12th April in Yokoham, Japan next year is an advanced academic showcase targeting public hospitals , radiologists in medical institutions with a view to displaying the diagnostic result of lung cancer's specimen with X-ray and CT imaging. This in turn enables visitors to be exposed directly to AI.
